Difficult installations, in detail

Three restorations where terrain and timelines were against us — and the ERS approach that got power back.

Live-line restoration with an ERS jumper

Challenge
Keep a corridor energised while bridging between structures — no full shutdown available on an already-critical line.
Approach
Live-line stringing from the existing tower onto the ERS and between two ERS towers, using a composite insulated crossarm as the jumper.
Result
Continuity maintained on the live line, with the insulated crossarm safely transferring the load between structures.

400 kV bypass across a flyover, river & highway

Challenge
On the Atur–Indrapuram line, the route crossed a flyover, a river and a national highway — then faced stormy winds after erection.
Approach
A compact ERS was threaded between the flyover and the river, with stringing sequenced so highway traffic never had to stop.
Result
Strung without disrupting highway traffic for a single minute; the structure held through stormy winds with zero damage.

400 kV quad double-circuit with no road access

Challenge
No road to site, soil unfit for anchoring, a river to cross and cultivated land all around — with a full double-circuit load to carry.
Approach
Materials moved by country boat; modular supports and special anchors designed for the site; water cans kept the conductor clear of the river; two ERS towers configured as a double circuit.
Result
The quad double-circuit was fully restored — and remained safe, reliable and secure six months on.

What clients say

Feedback from the utilities and EPCs we've restored lines for.

HTSE had a bypass energised while we were still assessing the damage. Their crew reached a site our own trucks couldn't, and the line was back the same week.

State Transmission Utility
We reconductored a critical 400 kV corridor without the extended shutdown we'd feared. The ERS bypass carried the load exactly as promised — no surprises.
