These towers are constructed by hand from lightweight aluminum alloy sections that do not require a concrete foundation. Once the permanent line is restored, the towers are dismantled. HTSE rents these Emergency Restoration Towers for power lines ranging from 33 kV to 800 kV.

An ERS tower can be installed within hours after reaching the site. A crew of 4 to 6 erects the modular tower by hand with a gin pole, so there is no wait for cranes or civil work.
Yes, you can rent from HTSE when you want restoration capability without the capital, storage and crew commitment whereas you can buy when outages are frequent enough to justify a dedicated fleet. Our rental converts an unpredictable emergency into a fixed per deployment cost and stores, maintains and re-certifies the towers between jobs.
HTSE ERS Towers are built for 33 kV to 800 kV lines, across single and multi-circuit configurations. They stand on level ground, slopes up to 30 degrees, soft soil, rock, marshy ground and even mid-river islands, using helical, cross-plate, Manta Ray and rock anchors matched to the site.
HTSE offers a complete 360 ERS Tower service. Our experienced supervisor survey the site and planned the route for the tower installation. The crew is responsible for transport, erection, line shifting and energizing. Additionally, we supervise the bypass 24/7 until your permanent line is restored and the ERS dismantling is complete. Anchoring accessories, guy wires, insulators, stringing hardware and tool kits are all included.
Yes. Every HTSE ERS Tower is designed to IEEE 1070-2006, load-rated to IEC 60652, modelled in PLS-CADD for your specific span and developed with structural research support from CSIR-SERC. At HTSE, “temporary” never means untested.
Yes. HTSE ERS Towers are widely used for planned reconductoring, tower raising for road and rail clearance, and line uprating. It suits any project where you need a live bypass but cannot take a long shutdown. HTSE has held double-circuit lines live on ERS through highway-raising work while permanent towers were rebuilt alongside.
